About

Why This Game Exists

This game is playful on purpose, but it also invites kids to notice how a queer and neurodivergent person may experience the same city very differently. Crowds, noise, motion, and uncertainty can make ordinary errands feel much bigger, and that perspective matters.

1. CBD Case Quest

Liam and Rushi matched on Tinder on 25 April, but busy schedules kept delaying their first meet. Then on 14 May, Riley, Liam's very annoying housemate, pushed Liam to his limit and Liam escaped into the city. That same morning, Rushi had to pick up a phone case from Casetify, so they decided this was finally the day. This level follows Rushi's anxious, overstimulation-avoidance mission through a noisy, crowded Sydney street. Swooping magpies, aggressive bin chickens, puberty-powered teenagers, and busy light rails all become part of the challenge.

2. Diving Deep

Shortly after meeting Rushi, Liam left for a long-planned Thailand trip. His career at a big Australian bank looked good from the outside, but he was burnt out underneath it all, and this trip was part of taking better care of himself. While snorkeling, Liam realised there was something in the water locals had adapted to, but many tourists could get very sick from. This level is about staying calm, watching the oxygen meter, and exploring as much nature as possible without pushing past safe limits.

Before The Run

I've been chatting to Liam on Tinder since 25 April, and we still haven't managed to meet because life keeps getting in the way. But today feels different. Liam escaped into the city after Riley, his housemate, became way too much first thing in the morning, and I already need to get my phone case from Casetify. So this is it: one crowded, chaotic city run. If I can dodge the stress, the noise, and all the unexpected stuff on the street, maybe I can make it there without getting overwhelmed first.
